How to strengthen the response of communities to disasters?

September 2018

We accompany three communities affected by the 19S earthquakes to systematize their resilience process and the reconstruction of the social fabric through collective reflection.

Resilient Route, was a project that made visible the faces and stories of resilience after the earthquake of September 19, 2017, in favor of the recovery of the affected neighborhoods.  It was implemented in three neighborhoods of CDMX through a social process for the collective construction of a memory of resilience of the communities affected by the earthquake.

Its main axes were:

  • A collective reflection on the experiences of the 19s earthquake

  • Visual evidence of collective reflection

  • memorial event

  • Resilient route memory
